As many of you know, Cobb County Safety Village provides Safety Education to over 20,000 students in Cobb County & Marietta schools yearly. We would not be able to provide this education without funding from Cobb County Fire Department and many grants and donations that have been graciously provided to the Safety Village. Cobb County Fire & Safety Village are part of a campaign to educate people on closing your bedroom doors before you go to sleep at night. We have created a video to help aide in this campaign with our Fire Dog “Cinder”. This campaign has provided an opportunity for people to vote and the video with the most vote could potentially win $25,000. If we win $25,000 it will be used towards Fire Education! We need your help! Please click on the link, watch “Cinder” and vote for CCFES. Share this link with friends, co-workers, parents, and families. The last day to vote is September 15. https://closeyourdoor.org/contest?contest=video-detail&video_id=31590 **If you are voting at work, some organizations or businesses only have 1 IP address and the system only counts one vote per IP address. Please consider using your cell phone or voting at home on your personal computer**
On this particular day Mrs. Gerber's class was reviewing math concepts at one of 5 different stations.
In AC Math students were completing task cards that were spread around the classroom. The last few pictures are from our activity titled "The Kings Gold" where the students got the opportunity to try to understand how the colonists felt about the King of England taxing them without any say. Dear Parents, We have just under 2 weeks left of AESF's funding drive to support the Science Lab. Addison families have raised just over $22,000 so far but we are only at 20% participation. If you haven't donated yet, please consider making a donation. All the students benefit and no amount is too small. Help us be the class with the highest participation and reach the goal of $38,000 so you child can see Mrs. Hallmark and Mr. Cohen get Yucky!!! Also, if you donate $500 or more you are automatically entered in a drawing to win 6 Disney tickets, a reserved year around parking spot, and two reserved seats for Gator Gala and Awards Day. Thank you for your continued support. This year we’ve been using an exciting educational game called Prodigy. While we will be using the program sometimes during school hours, students are encouraged to play with the same character at home to supplement their practice!
