In case you didn’t hear the news, the Georgia Milestone data is in and our CCRPI score has been tabulated and….. Addison’s CCRPI score has gone from 88 to 93.3! We are so excited and proud of our staff and our students for a job well done. This means that we grew in the areas of achievement, progress and that we have narrowed the achievement gap at Addison, among many other things. A huge thank you to all of our parents as well, because we know that your support both here at school and at home is of the utmost importance and allows our students to be successful. We continue to strive for excellence and we look forward to sharing more information about the CCRPI score in the near future. In the meantime, a celebration is in order!

Nov. 13th - Parent Information MEETING- Dr. Patti Agatston will be here at 8:30 in the morning and 5:30 in the afternoon to discuss Parenting in the digital age. She visited Addison last year and her session was extremely informative for any parent who has a school age child. I am hoping to get many of our parents (and teachers) who fit this description. I can tell you that I wish I had known more when my children got their cell phones. There is so much out there that our kids are exposed to.
