So, if you read the previous post you will know that I am NOT a snake person AT ALL! But, with a little bit of pressure (ok, a LOT) I finally put Einstein around my neck. (You can see in the first shot that I'm glued to the chair and told Mrs. Knobbe to stay close.) The second picture was the 4th (yes, fourth!) time that I held him today. Each group wanted me to hold him, so I couldn't disappoint.
Addison tradition states that the fourth graders get to (finally) hold Einstein during their last visit to the science lab. The day finally arrived and everyone was excited. (Well, mostly everyone. I am NOT a snake person and have worked up to having him sit on my lap.) :)
Thank you for your child’s participation in Jump Rope/Hoops for Heart this year. Once again, it was a successful event and we appreciate your generosity in helping the American Heart Association. If your child hasn’t turned in the collection envelope, please have them turn it in tomorrow, Wednesday, May 9th. That will be the last day we will be able to collect money because we need to order the Thank-You gifts so that they can arrive by the end of school. Next week during regular PE days/times, we will have the actual Jump Rope and Hoops Event Activities.
